Cookie policy

This page explains which cookies and similar technologies the sollevita.com website uses, what they are for and how long they remain active. It also explains how you can accept or reject them, or change your choice at any time.

Who is the controller

The sollevita.com website is run by Gruppo Pragma Srl, which is the controller for the processing of data collected through cookies and similar technologies:

Gruppo Pragma Srl
Via Molin Nuovo, 37/42
33100 Udine (UD), Italy
VAT no. (Partita IVA) 02542110305

If you have any questions about this policy or about your personal data, you can write to info@sollevita.com or call +39 335 636 9216. The controller has not designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO).

This policy is provided under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (the Personal Data Protection Code, referred to below as the ‘Italian Privacy Code’), in accordance with the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) on 10 June 2021. It supplements the website’s privacy policy, which describes the other ways in which personal data is processed, for example requests sent through the contact form.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser while you are visiting it. On later visits your browser sends them back to the website, which can then remember certain information, such as the language you have chosen.

There are also similar technologies, such as the browser’s sessionStorage, which store small pieces of information on your device. For simplicity, in this policy the word ‘cookie’ also covers these technologies.

Cookies can be:

  • first-party cookies, when they are managed directly by sollevita.com;
  • third-party cookies, when the information collected goes to another party. On this website the only third party is Google, for Google Analytics 4 statistics, and only with your consent.

The law distinguishes between technical cookies, which are needed for the website to work and do not require consent, and all other cookies, which may only be used after you have given your consent. On sollevita.com the only cookies in this second category are the Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies.

At a glance: the cookies this website uses

The website uses only two categories of cookies:

  • Technical cookies, always active. They are needed for the website to work and to remember your choices, such as your language and your cookie preference. They do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies, only with your consent. Google Analytics 4 produces aggregated statistics on how the website is used, for example which pages are visited most often. These cookies are set only if you click ‘Accept’ in the banner.

The website does not use profiling or marketing cookies.

Full list of cookies

Data collected through Google Analytics is kept for a maximum of 14 months.

The technical cookies pll_language and sv_consent and the wpEmojiSettingsSupports entry are strictly necessary to provide the website you are visiting: to show the pages in the language you have chosen, to display them correctly and to respect the choice you have made about cookies. For this reason, under Article 122(1) of the Italian Privacy Code, they do not require consent.

They contain only the information shown in the table and are not used for any other purpose. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in offering a website that works properly and respects your preferences (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

You can still block or delete them in your browser settings, as explained below.

The website uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to obtain aggregated statistics on how the website is used, for example how many visits the pages receive.

Google Analytics is loaded only after you have clicked ‘Accept’ in the cookie banner. Until consent is given, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all and the _ga and _ga_XEGJWR240N cookies are not set. Continuing to browse or scrolling the page does not count as giving consent.

  • Purpose: aggregated statistics on the use of the website.
  • Legal basis: your consent (Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Retention: the cookies last 13 months; data collected in Google Analytics is kept for a maximum of 14 months.
  • No profiling: the controller does not use Google Analytics for profiling, advertising or marketing, and does not make automated decisions based on this data.
  • Free choice: giving consent is not compulsory. If you do not give it, you can use the website without any restrictions.

On your first visit the website shows a banner with two equally prominent buttons:

  • Accept: activates Google Analytics and its analytics cookies;
  • Reject: only the technical cookies remain active and Google Analytics is not loaded.

Closing the banner by clicking the X is the same as not giving consent: in this case too, only the technical cookies remain active. The banner also contains a link to this policy.

The choice you make with ‘Accept’ or ‘Reject’ is stored for 6 months in the technical cookie sv_consent. During this period the banner is not shown again, unless you reopen it yourself using the button on this page. After 6 months the banner is shown again.

Your choice applies to the browser and device you are using. If you use a different browser or device, or delete your cookies, the banner will be shown again.

You can change your choice at any time: you can accept the analytics cookies if you previously rejected them, or withdraw consent you have already given. Simply use the button below, which reopens the cookie banner.

The button is always available on this page, which you can reach from the website footer.

If you refuse or withdraw your consent:

  • the website continues to work normally, including the contact form;
  • Google Analytics is not loaded;
  • if you withdraw consent, the _ga and _ga_XEGJWR240N cookies already in your browser are deleted.

Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the use of analytics cookies based on your consent before its withdrawal (Article 7(3) GDPR). Statistical data collected before withdrawal remains in Google Analytics until the end of the retention period (a maximum of 14 months); you can ask for it to be erased by writing to info@sollevita.com.

Recipients of the data and transfers outside the EU

Data collected through cookies is processed by Gruppo Pragma Srl and, on its behalf, by the following providers, which act as processors (Article 28 GDPR):

  • Hetzner Online GmbH, which hosts the website on servers in the data centre in Falkenstein, Germany (European Union). When you browse the website, technical cookies are sent to this server.
  • Google Ireland Limited, which provides Google Analytics 4, only if you have given your consent. To find out how Google processes data, please see Google’s privacy policy.

Data collected through cookies is not sold or passed on to other parties for their own purposes. The full list of providers that process data for the website can be found in the privacy policy.

When Google Analytics is used, data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. This transfer is covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Article 45 GDPR) and by standard contractual clauses (Article 46 GDPR). Further information is available at www.dataprivacyframework.gov.

This transfer only takes place if you have accepted the analytics cookies. The website’s cookies do not involve any other transfers of data outside the European Union.

In addition to the choice you make in the banner, you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on all the websites you visit by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

What the website does not use

  • Profiling or marketing cookies.
  • Social media plugins.
  • Videos or maps embedded from other websites.
  • Third-party cookies other than the Google Analytics cookies listed above.

Fonts are hosted on the sollevita.com server: while you browse, your browser does not connect to Google Fonts. The website is verified in Google Search Console only by means of a meta tag in the page code; no cookies are used for this.

How to manage cookies in your browser settings

As well as using the banner, you can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Instructions for the most widely used browsers are available here:

If you block all cookies, including technical ones, some features may not work properly. For example, the website may not remember the language you have chosen or the preference you expressed in the banner, so the banner would be shown again on every visit.

Your rights

With regard to data collected through cookies, you can exercise, where applicable, the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also withdraw your consent at any time using the button on this page.

Cookies do not contain your name or any other data that directly identifies you. For this reason, for some requests you may need to provide additional information that allows the data to be linked to the person making the request (Article 11(2) GDPR).

To exercise your rights, simply write to info@sollevita.com or call +39 335 636 9216.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or with the supervisory authority of the EU Member State in which you habitually reside or work (Article 77 GDPR). Full details are given in the privacy policy.

Updates to this policy

This policy may be updated, for example if the cookies used by the website or the applicable law change. The version in force is always the one published on this page, together with the date of its last update.

If in future the website uses new cookies that require consent, they will only be activated after you have been asked for your consent again.
