Functions that become part of your routine

The relax function, tilt-in-space, Zero Gravity, the 180° lie-flat position and vertical height adjustment are not just catalogue features. They are used every day for reading, watching TV, resting or receiving a massage on a flat surface set at the most comfortable height.

Functions and positions

All the functions you need, in a single chair

Sollevita integrates functions designed to support the different moments of the day: sitting, relaxing, resting, standing up, receiving care and making some transfers easier.

Active seating — Sollevita chair

Seated position

What it does: provides an ergonomic, well-proportioned seat with a high backrest, stable armrests and a Push Head powered headrest to adjust the support for the head and neck.

What it is for: reading, chatting, sitting at the table and spending time in a comfortable, stable position, ready for the next movement when it is time to stand up.

Relax position — Sollevita chair

Relax function

What it does: lets you adjust the backrest, footrest, Push Head powered headrest and tilt-in-space, moving from the seated position to a more reclined, personalised position.

What it is for: it helps to support the legs, back, head and neck better and to find a more comfortable relax position at different times of the day.

Rise function — Sollevita chair

Rise function

What it does: gradually raises the seat and guides the person towards a standing position. The same movement also makes sitting back down in the chair easier.

What it is for: making standing up and sitting down easier, with a gradual movement that can be controlled and stopped at any moment.

180° lie-flat position — Sollevita chair

180° lie-flat position

What it does: brings Sollevita into a fully extended configuration, coordinating the backrest, seat and footrest.

What it is for: resting, taking a short nap or sleeping in the chair, when this suits the person’s habits and needs.

Zero Gravity — Sollevita chair

Zero Gravity function

What it does: raises the legs and feet above heart level, placing the body in the Zero Gravity configuration.

What it is for: this position promotes circulation in the lower limbs, offers a cardio-circulatory benefit linked to raising the legs and increases the feeling of lightness and comfort.

Note: Zero Gravity and tilt-in-space are two distinct functions. Tilt-in-space tilts the seat and backrest together while keeping the body supported; Zero Gravity, on the other hand, raises the legs and feet above heart level in a configuration dedicated to relaxation.

Vertical height adjustment and lie-flat transfer configuration — Sollevita chair

Vertical height adjustment and lie-flat transfer configuration

What it does: raises or lowers the whole chair while the person stays seated or lying down. In the 180° lie-flat position it adjusts the height of the flat surface and, with the side panel removed, the chair can be placed alongside the bed.

What it is for: it brings the flat surface to the most comfortable height, so that whoever gives massages or personal care can work standing up and reach the sides more easily. It can also make bed-to-chair transfers easier if mobility needs change.

Premium comfort belongs in your home, not on a spec sheet

How it is built

Quality you can see and use, built to last

The advanced functions are only one part of Sollevita. Its backrest, seat, upholstery and modular structure make it an ergonomic electric chair, designed to offer real comfort and to simplify daily use, cleaning, transport and servicing over time.

Push Head powered headrest and ergonomic high backrest — Sollevita

Push Head powered headrest and ergonomic high backrest

The Push Head powered headrest precisely adjusts the support for the head and neck in the different positions. The high backrest, firmer in the lumbar area and softer in the upper part, supports the back along its entire length.

Three-layer seat construction — Sollevita

Three-layer seat construction

The seat combines a sprung seat base, a cushion with individually pocketed springs and a comfort top layer. An advanced three-layer technical construction, designed to distribute weight better, adapt to the different contact points and offer support and comfort even during prolonged use.

Fully removable outer and underlying covers — Sollevita

Fully removable outer and underlying covers

Both the outer cover and the underlying cover are removable. Sollevita is available with stain-resistant, water-repellent fabrics or in faux leather, at no extra cost. Fully removable outer and underlying covers, an exclusive Sollevita feature, make cleaning, washing, replacing the covers and long-term maintenance easier.

Removable backrest, armrests and backrest wings — Sollevita

Removable backrest, armrests and backrest wings

The backrest, armrests and backrest wings are independent elements that can be removed without tools. The upper armrest section can be removed to bring the chair closer to the table; removing the whole side panel instead frees up side access, making transfers from chair to bed and from bed to chair easier.

Footrest extension — Sollevita

Footrest extension

The extension lengthens the footrest surface and gives better support to the legs and feet. It allows the chair to be adapted to different body lengths and proportions, offering more continuous, comfortable support even in the most reclined positions.

Wheeled base with the person seated — Sollevita

The fabrics are easy to spot-clean, water-repellent and washable according to the instructions for the chosen upholstery. Every edge is finished with anti-fray stitching, an exclusive Sollevita feature, designed to better withstand repeated cover removal, washing and maintenance.

Modular construction and easier transport — Sollevita

Modular construction and easier transport

Sollevita is built from separable modules, without screws, thanks to snap-fit and bayonet coupling systems. It can be taken apart to pass more easily through doors, up stairs and through narrow passages, then reassembled in the room where it will be used. The same structure makes it easier to work on individual elements over time.

Comparison

Sollevita compared with a standard riser recliner:
what really changes

Many standard riser recliners use two independent motors and offer predefined sizes and movements. Sollevita integrates 5 to 8 independent motors, according to the weight capacity, within a single design that allows the chair’s different functions to be controlled separately. The difference, however, is not only in the number of motors: it shows in the ergonomics, the seat construction, the personalisation, the quality of the finishes and the support over time.

Answers to help you choose the comfort that suits you

Supports, adjustments and workmanship define comfort beyond the first impression. Here we look more closely at tilt-in-space, the options for resting and the personalisation of the upholstery, including premium fabrics or a fabric supplied by the customer.

You can choose it for its comfort and build quality, even if you do not need help with daily activities. Sollevita is a premium riser recliner with a three-layer seat construction, a high backrest and the Push Head powered headrest. The independent adjustments let you find different kinds of support for reading, watching TV or resting. The rise function remains available, while materials, workmanship and personalisation can be the main reason for your choice.

What matters is how the seat, backrest and supports work together over time. The sprung seat base, the individually pocketed springs cushion and the comfort top layer promote a balanced distribution of weight. The backrest offers differentiated support, firmer in the lumbar area and softer higher up; the Push Head powered headrest adjusts the support for the head and neck. Quality also shows in how easily you can change position, in the fully removable outer and underlying covers and in the care taken over the finishes.

Tilt-in-space lets you tilt the seat and backrest together once you have chosen the opening angle between them, without changing it. You can explore different positions to relax and rest while keeping the angle between pelvis and back that you find comfortable. Its value lies in being able to personalise how you rest, even when a simple recline does not give you the support you want. It is a separate function from Zero Gravity and widens the choice of tilt angles according to how the person feels and what they need.

The relax function lets you adjust your support for reading, chatting or watching TV; the 180° lie-flat position offers a flat surface for resting. Zero Gravity raises the legs and feet above heart level: the elevation can support venous return and circulation in the lower limbs, contributing to a feeling of lightness and comfort. Intermediate adjustments help you find your preferred position. The choice depends on the person’s condition and individual advice, and does not replace any treatment.

Vertical height adjustment changes the height of the whole chair, even with the person lying down. Combined with the 180° lie-flat position, it brings the flat surface to a more comfortable height for whoever is giving a massage or providing personal care, making it easier to work standing up and to get close to the sides. The activity should be agreed with the person carrying it out, based on the position and the surface available. Sollevita offers this versatility without being considered equivalent to a professional massage table for every treatment.

Yes. Sollevita works with prestigious European upholstery companies to offer refined fabrics, in addition to the Raggio di Sole and Mons collections and faux leather. Colours, textures and finishes let you coordinate the chair with your interior and personal taste. The Sollevita Team guides your choice, checking quality, durability, elasticity and compatibility with stitching, moving parts and the fully removable outer and underlying covers. Aesthetic quality thus goes hand in hand with careful construction and practicality in everyday use.

Yes, the customer’s own fabric can be used after a technical assessment. You can submit the material to the Sollevita Team, who will check the quantity available, durability, elasticity, how well it can be sewn and how it behaves on the moving parts. Compatibility with the removable outer and underlying covers and with the intended maintenance is also taken into account. This lets you echo a fabric already present in your home while keeping the careful construction of the design. Suitability, workmanship and conditions are clarified before the upholstery is confirmed.
